Bonsugi is an Italian singer and producer, born and living in a small town near Venice – a city he deeply loves and that has often inspired his music and art.

Throughout his life, he has traveled extensively, visiting almost every continent. This constant exposure to different cultures has shaped a musical style that defies boundaries, blending influences gathered along his journeys. Bonsugi enjoys experimenting with music, refusing to be confined to a single genre or label. His work ranges from pure EDM to ambient, lounge, and pop productions — always driven by the pleasure of creative freedom.

His musical career began in the late 1990s with a pop project for the Slovenian label NIKA, recording an Italian cover of Ako suto samo bile lazi by Plavi Orkestar. The song was performed in Italian by Saša Lošić, the band’s frontman, and recorded at Metro Studio in Ljubljana in 1999. Bonsugi went on to collaborate further with NIKA until 2003, while also releasing dance projects with the German label ZYX Music. In the following years, he worked with various labels, including Bliss.Co in Turin — the record company famous for Eiffel 65 — releasing three productions with them.

In 2005, he founded his own record label, D.P.Factory Music, which continues to operate to this day. That same year, he met Ottomix, beginning a long-lasting friendship and artistic partnership. In 2006, they released El Bom Bom by 8 Ball C, a highly successful reggaeton single distributed by Universal Music, followed by several other successful collaborations.

True to his lone traveler spirit, over the years Bonsugi has worked with artists from Thailand, Africa, Europe, and the United States — sometimes traveling in person to record in local studios, other times collaborating remotely online. In recent years, he has worked closely with Lombard DJ and producer Manuel Tricky, recording four tracks at the Massive Art Studio in Milan.

Today, Bonsugi has once again turned the page, continuing his search for new sounds, new spaces, and new emotions. Musically, he is always in motion — and nothing will ever stop him.
